A Non Governmental organization, Inter Faith Vision Foundation Cameroon, IVFCAM on September 18, 2025, at the Limbe 1 Council conference hall organiséd a one day training for Council officials in Fako Division.
The meeting brought together Council officials from Tiko Council, Idenau Council and Limbe 1, 2, and 3 councils.They were trained by the Interfaith Vision Foundation Cameroon ( IVFCam), on tools to be used for the effective functioning of the village and quarter committees (VQCs).
These tools will create platforms for the villages and quarter committees to be much more organized for their effective contribution to local development.
Some of the tools explored during the ine day gathering were the Minutes Taking format for the Village Quarter Committees, Procedure for election, Action Plan, Comprehensive monthly and yearly Action Report, Community Needs/issues tracker amongst others.
The workshop ended with a question and answer session by the participants and the organiser.
Tiko Council, the gateway city was represented at the workshop by the fourth Deputy Mayor, Waindim Rudolf and Chief of Administration, Mrs Coretta Mesinze Njie Makia.
